    All-star remake of the J.R.R. Tolkien literary trilogy, starring Cate Blanchett, Ian McKellen, Liv Tyler, Ian Holm and Elijah Wood. "Lord of the Rings 2: The Two Towers," has already been booked to open Dec. 19, 2002, and Part 3, "The Return of the King," is due in December 2003.
